A Custom Pendant for Fran

I have had fun making jewelry for Fran before, but not this much fun! She brought me this t-shirt (this picture is on the back) and she wanted something to go with it. So you can see my solution. My jewelry is never identical, but you can order one similar to this here for $60. This includes sales tax and shipping and handling. If you are local and pick this up at my studio, you save $5 shipping.

Support the Feel Your Boobies Foundation

I enjoy helping others, so 1 way I can do that is to share a portion of my sales. I was inpired by the FYB website, so I created this jewelry. The founder of FYB is a neighbor and being a cancer survivor, I am happy to help her cause. This pendant was the first piece I designed. I call this a double style. For the sake of weight, the earrings I have made only come in a single style. I have also made pins and bracelets. Their pictures will soon follow. And remember that no 2 are exactly alike! For special orders like this, please allow 2 weeks for delivery. <

You can order it here and SSS will get a portion of the proceeds on each order. Notice there are 2 styles here. They can also be ordered in different colors if you are soul inclined. If you do not select other colors, they wil be done in the colors shown, however, there will be slight variations in the glass. The square or diamond piece in the middle is irridescent! The finish is copper and the pendant hangs on copper tiger tail 18" unless otherwise specified. Shipping is included in the U.S. Outside, I will have to quote.

Reversible

< <

Sometimes I come across a piece of glass and I can't decide which side is the most beautiful. This is when I make the piece reversible, so both sides can be seen. Here's an example of a reversible necklace. I can make earrings reversible, too! This piece is available now, 1st come, 1st served.

My First "Engraving"

Another artist that I know wanted an engraved pendant for a girlfriend. He had seen a piece of mine that caught his eye. That piece was clear glass, so we went through some of my glass to find a golden irridescent piece that would become the pendant he was looking for. I bought 14K gold glass paint to "engrave" the back of the pendant. You couldn't see the engraving through the glass, but she could wear the pendant either way she would like. I have another friend who saw this piece and I already have an order for another one. If you see something that you like on this blog or on my website www.middletownarts.com/sharibrandt, just email your request to sharinart@comcast.net.

Glass on Wire Bracelet

I got a call from an aquaintance whose mother loves my jewelry and has a birthday today. She came to my studio yesterday and we picked out purple glass (her mother's favorite color). I made this bracelet. Happy Birthday to Julie's mom!
